Guided Navigation

Post by steiner »

Hello,

I have a problem with Guided Navigation. When i open our bcr.file with the PTV Navigator, the Navigator show not the route, i want for the vehicle. I have attached the file with a hardcopy, which route i want or i have exported in the bcr.file.

Can i get the tool tilerouting? To check the accuracy of my waypoints.

And in Userguide_GuidedNavigation_2021.pdf there is a point 7.3 under "Enhanced Option": Define the "stickiness" of the route. Does this Option mean the Parameter ReRouteAttractionFactor?

Thanks for your help in advanced

Your sinceraly

Hello,

the waypoints are fine. Here we face the problem that the map provider differs. The route is probably planned on HERE, and the Navigator is running with TomTom. Close to the first destination the waypoints are mapped on a street segment with truck restrictions. Although a guided navigation route, the navigator is of course considering the truck restrictions.

Two options:
1. use car profile for this dedicated BCR
2. change map provider on the navigator to HERE and set the following value within the BCR in the section CLIENT:
FORGETWEAKLORRYRESTRICTIONS=1

Thanks for your Info.

But how can I change the map to here? In the app i can only download a map without choice. Is the mapversion a info in the licence? We get 2 entries for testing and programming.

It depends who provided the license? Was it provided directly through PTV or through a reseller?
