Hi there,
about once per year our PTV xServer INTERNET administrators update the HTTPS certificate. Our Product Management informs our users via newsletter and blog entries about the update and for most of them no special activity is required. But my personal experience is that especially SAP environments seem to require an update to the trust chain.
Is there any SAP expert who could give me (as a non-SAP guy) some more info about required reactions to such an announcement of "PTV will update the certificate"? Do we need a specific guideline for SAP users?
Best regards,
Bernd

Hi there,
usually you have to import SSL-certificates to SAP manually. Otherwise the services will stop working.
I thinkimporting the certificate to the ABAP-Stack, can b done via transaction STRUST. The certificate is needed for this step.
