Disabling paid highways

We have a request from one of our customers to calculate the matrix (with high-performance routing precalculation) to take into account their business model of not using segments which are both highway AND a toll road (i.e. to avoid paid highways) — in Poland there are both paid and free fragments of highways. It is OK to use other paid roads and to use unpaid fragments of highways.

What would be the best way to introduce this restriction into the map / matrix / calculation process?

Hello Przemek,

though we have malus values for both categories I think it is not possible to resolve this topic.
From my understanding,

• you want to avoid segments where both categories are applied at the same time
• you accept to use segments that are toll segments but not highways
• you accept to use segments that are highways but not toll related
• you accept to use segments that are neither highways nor toll related

If such a parameter set was availale you'd simply have to create a profile XML and create new search graphs.
But as I said: there is no XML profile configuration possible that matches the business requirement.
