Error: There are no styles configured for FeatureLayer theme

Post by Bernd Welter »

Hi guys,

I am currently facing the following error message while trying to apply a custom render profile on my local xmap v2.27:
There are no styles configured for FeatureLayer theme
The error occurs in the rendering showcase "Visualize Time-dependent Feature Layer Data" when I try to enable traffic incidents. The showcase runs fine without the traffic incidents. Any idea what might be missing in the underlying rendering ini?
I would love to add some required sections and also play with the settings.

Meanwhile I found the cause for this issue on my local environment:
  • The error message was triggered by some profiles I created manually as copies of the existing profiles. As my "templates" (such as "amber.xml") were stored in /conf/profiles/rendering they refered to the required fl-files via
    parent="featurelayer/fl_*"
  • Solution: I moved my custom profiles into the same /rendering subfolder
Thanks to Heidi for the missing link!
