xLocate2: Country Code of Kosovo instead of Serbia

Hi,

we noticed that we get the country code of Serbia (SRB) if we geocode an address of Kosovo.
The support already told us that PTV returns the country code of Serbia because not all states recognise Kosovo as independent.

The problem is that most of the states (22/27 from European Union and 26/30 from NATO) recognised Kosovo.
Therefore we have some customers which expect the "correct" country code in their perspectiv of view.

Is there any way to force the xServer2 Internet to return the country code of Kosovo?

Hello Christopher,

I forwarded this to DEV.What I heard so far is this:
If a place is located in the KOSOVO region "within Serbia" you could identify this via the result address property "state" as mentioned in the screenshot:

Pristina geocoded via xLocate2

So this requires a simple business logic. Not sure how the official, political status is nowadays.
