Hi,
I read in Conversion rates of currencies in PTV Routing products that the toll calculated in xRoute 1 and xRoute 2 is equipped to use standard exchange rates which are not automatically reflecting daily rates.
I want to ensure that the toll calculation reflects our own custom exchange rates because we download them from web services every day. Do you have an example how we can apply our own tariffs?
How to apply my own exchange rates in toll calculation?

Hi,
you are correct - the core engines xRoute1 and xRoute2 basically compute and return toll based on exchange rates that are hidden in the map folder. Especially in a cloud such as PTV xServer Internet you do not have access to the underlying file. But at least in xROute 2 (both on premise and cloud) you can "override" the currency exchange rates with the rates of your choice.

PTV xRoute 1: users of the xServer1 engine would have to apply their exchange rates on client side because there's not built-in mechanism. | PTV xRoute 2 : supports the Exchange Rates as input parameters which is way more smart : |
