set VehicleID on Order (xTour2)

This forum deals with any kind of trip optimization based on xTour1, xTour2 and the Developer APIs "RouteOptimization" and "SequenceOptimization". No matter whether it is automatic planning or manual dispatching, refering to transport orders or service planning.

set VehicleID on Order (xTour2)

Post by peter.gheeraert »

Dear,

is there a possibility in xTour2 to supply a VehicleID on the orders to force the order to a vehicle in the result set of PlanTours?
Like it is possible in xTour1?

Hello Peter,

this kind of restriction isn't implemented in xTour2 so far (FEB-2019).

A temporary workaround could be to give each vehicle it's own "equipment" flag and to request the "requirement via the order".

I just spoke to DEV about this. It is definetly a topic for a future version but the colleague wasn't able to give me an ETA for it.

Sorry for this kind of answer,

Bernd

Dear Bernd,

ok the workaround works fine for me and makes sense. Thanks. Maybe this can be added to the documentation of xTour2 in the section concerning the Vehicle and Order equipment?
