Find addresses without defining a city

Is there a way to get (better) address/street suggestions without defining a city?

For example:
Using Google Maps and typing 'Rhododendronstr' it gives me per default 5 possible addresses.

Using ptv xlocate i got 0 result using 'Rhododendronstr'. Only when defining explicitly a city (like 'Rhododendronstr Aurich') ptv gives a suggested address.

xServer 1 won't approach such an input pattern but xServer 2 will probably be able to help:

I got 0 results using the Showcase (https://xserver2-dashboard.cloud.ptvgro ... /index.htm#)

Using the online service (https://xserver2-dashboard.cloud.ptvgro ... e/2.3?wsdl) via the ptv-client 2.2 i got the same 0 results for 'Rhododendronstr'

Hello Eike,

you are right, the current version does not behave like this right now.
I used an internal development server so this approach is probably available with xServer 2.3 (expected in the next few weeks).

Since the application we are developing is in an early development stage, i think its totally fine for us to wait a few more weeks
