Your input is required: ROUTING topics!

Post by Bernd Welter »

Hi there,

Lars and I want to offer a webinar dealing with the special features around routing.
Schedule: probably end of may 2017.

https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/regist ... urce=forum

Mandatory topics are
  • Toll calculation
  • Consideration of truck specific restrictions (feature layer PTV_TruckAttributes)
  • Dynamic routing (time dependency, feature layers PTV_SpeedPatterns, PTV TruckSpeedPatterns)
  • Live traffic info (Feature layer PTV_TrafficIncidents)
  • High Performance Routing (xRoute, xDima, xTour)
  • Emission computation (xRoute)
Are there any further topics you'd like to see? Let us know - just respond to this task.
Once we gathered the info we will provide the exact date&time here in the post.

Best regards Bernd

Hi Bernd,

perhaps one more topic:

we use xRoute to get the polygon of a tour. The polygon points go via database interface to Styletronic which uses the point list with PTV-Navigator for guiding the tour on their tablet. Is it possible to get a BCR-File out of xRoute or is it possible to get all required fields out of xRoute to have a guided navigation in PTV-navigator? Styletronic says that they need either the BCR-file or a field for the 'direction' in addition to the polygon points.

If it is no topic for the webinar, please can you give me a short information about that per mail or normal posting here?

Regards,
Volker.

Hello Volker,

good idea, we'll check whether we can demonstrate BCR / guided navigation in the webinar! In the meantime evaluate this thread:
http://xserver.ptvgroup.com/forum/viewt ... f=49&t=449
and this download
https://xserver.ptvgroup.com/fileadmin/ ... tion75.zip

If you have further questions in advance just raise them in the xRoute http://xserver.ptvgroup.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=7 or Navigator forum http://xserver.ptvgroup.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=49

Best regards
