Hi there,
here are just some screenshots that show you how we deal with break- and rest rules and open / closed tours in xTour 1. My first GANTT charts - there's room for improvement.

here are just some screenshots that show you how we deal with break- and rest rules and open / closed tours in xTour 1. My first GANTT charts - there's room for improvement.
- No breaks, just switching between driving (red), service (green) and not operating (pink) and waiting (orange). As you can see the beginning and end of the tours is a RED event which is the partial trip from the depot to the first customer and from the last customer to the depot. That's what we call a closed tour.
- Gantt chart with break- and rest rules. Therefore you can see additional breaks (e.g. yellow: 45 mins somewhere between 11:00 and 13:00). Furthermore the end of the tour is GREEN which shows a half open tour (ends at customer)
