Hello together,

as some of you may already know our routing engine offers the possibility
  • to exclude a list of countries (BLACK list)
  • to define a list of "legal" countries (WHITE list)

in the routing. Traditionally these countries where referenced by their so-called INTEGRATION-UNIT-CODE which is some kind of PTV internal identifier.

Now a customer asked me whether he can use the ISO-2 code of the countries to avoid some kind of dependencies to PTVs identifieres.
Well, since 1.20.1.0 we offe the following improvement:
Improvement: ISO2 and ISO3 country codes in the parameters ROUTING_COUNTRIES and EXCLUDE_COUNTRIES are supported for all countries except Russia, Australia, the United States, and Canada.
two results - the left map shows the regular route while the right one prevents the user from passing Belgium (BE) and Germany (DE)
two results - the left map shows the regular route while the right one prevents the user from passing Belgium (BE) and Germany (DE)
So you may use this reference as an explicit request parameter but please notice that the larger countries are not covered by these new referencing styles.

Best regards Bernd
