xServer 2.30 released

We proudly present: PTV xServer v2.30 !
Release of PTV xServer 2.30.0

The PTV xServer and the PTV Content Update Service 2.30 is released! Besides several improvements and bugfixes we provide these main features:
  • xDima
    • Prepared for the upcoming German toll tariffs planned for December 2023 (experimental, toll data not yet available)
    • Support of importing big distance matrices in several increments
    • More flexibility to use Feature Layer for the calculation of travel time profiles (experimental)
  • xMap
    • Prepared for the low emission zones in different European countries (experimental, data from PTV World City Map 2024.1H on)
  • xRoute
    • Prepared for the upcoming German toll tariffs planned for December 2023 (experimental, toll data not yet available)
    • Prepared for the low emission zones in different European countries (experimental, data from PTV World City Map 2024.1H on)
      Low Emission Zones (requires 2024.1H and v2.30)
      Low Emission Zones (requires 2024.1H and v2.30)
    • Prepared for the restriction kingpin to rear axle in the US (experimental, data from PTV World City Map 2024.1H on)
    • Support of the calculated toll distance as an alternative to the not always available official toll distance
  • xTour
    • :!: Please note that from this release on the monetary cost minimization for the xTour service will no longer be supported. When using this feature, an exception is returned.

The cloud solution PTV xServer internet will be updated according to this plan:
  • 05.09.23: Productive system hosted in Europe
  • 07.09.23: Productive system hosted in US
  • 21.09.23: Productive system hosted in Australia

Quick update:
Unfortunately the new low emission zone data didn't make it properly into the 2024.1H map.
We will work on this and provide it through the 2024.2H map.
