Update cycle of global_d.hb31 /global_d.hb32 (HABEFA)

HI there,
one of my partners updates his maps every year. During this procedure he also copies some old global_d.hb31 and global_d.hb32 which are required for the emission computation (HBEFA, Handbook of Emission Factors). His files timestamps are from 2011 and 2014.
Does he need to update these files, too?
If this is the case: where to get the latest versions?
The answer to this question is:
The version of the HBEFA standard itself is the update: such a standard specifies conversion factors and each new version of the standard re-defines those values. The latest standard supported by the current xServers is HBEFA 3.2 (March 2020). We will catch up with the official standards as quick as possible which means that in future versions of the API we will offer accesss to HBEFA 4.1 (invented August 2019).
Best regards,
Bernd
