How to configure SAP IDM (Integrated Dispatch Management)?

Hi Andre, Gerrit,

I had a call with a prospect who is setting up an SAP IDM (Integrated Dispatch Management) environment. He struggles with the settings:

What already rings a bell:

• The host URL is based on xServer Internet Test environment API Version 1 - while the PathPrefix refers to a module of xServer2: https://xserver2-europe-eu-test.cloud.ptvlogistics.com Is this replacement sufficient? Where else would he have to update the settings? (I guess map URLs are configured somewhere else?)
• The base URL is refering to ptvgroup.com - as we restructured the company into PTV Logistics in 2023/2024 the proper base URL is ptvlogistics.com. Did IMPLICO update the documentation? Maybe this change of URLs didn't reach IMPLICO so far.

Further questions:

• Where can the prospect find generic information about how to install / configure the IDM environment?
• Where is a client supposed to gather the token for the cloud based xServer2 xtok user? From PTV? Via IMPLICO?

Hi Bernd,

I am not sure where your prospect got this configuration information. Maybe they got a copy of a not well configured SAP demo/reference system.

In general it would make sense that your prospect gets in contact with our Sales/Consulting (for example possible via www.implico.com) to discuss the next steps needed to get a xServer 2 on-premise installation or a xtok user to connect to your PTV xServer 2 Cloud Service.
