I'm looking for the possibility to add custom combined transport and use it in xRoute calculations. I find this screenshot very interesting which implies that it is possible to add custom combinedTransportId?

you can also seatch for potential ferries via xLocate findCombinedTransportByLocation
The ID is then a potential property of a waypoint:
